 Upcoming Book: The Human Side of Project Leadership: Effectively Managing Your Project's Most Valuable Assets
Leanne is in the process of writing a book on the importance of leadership skills, influence without authority, team building, emotional intelligence and communication in project management. These key skills are critical to the success of any project since people are indeed a project's most valuable asset.
Publication of The Human Side of Project Leadership is scheduled for early 2017.
Leanne Bateman selected as "Outstanding Teacher of the Year" at Brandeis University
Leanne was recently awarded the "Outstanding Teacher of the Year" distinction at Brandeis University. She was presented with the award at the annual Faculty Awards meeting, as well as honored at the 2015 Commencement ceremony in May, seated on stage throughout the ceremony with other distinguished faculty. Graduate Strategic Analytics Program continues to be the fastest growing program at Brandeis University The Strategic Analytics program continues to be the fastest growing program in the Graduate Professional Studies division at Brandeis University. Leanne co-designed and launched the program in 2013, served as Academic Chair for two years and continues to teach in the program. Project and Program Management Master's Degree Program Continues to Grow The graduate PPM program--in which Leanne serves as Academic Chair and faculty-- continues to expand with a new industry specific course, "Project Management in Biotech and Pharmaceuticals". This new course will be offered in the spring 2016 term. One of Leanne's consistent goals for the program has been to expand the range of industry-specific project management electives in addition to its broad curriculum of general project management courses.
